FAQ

Locations

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE AUTHORISED PER PITCH?

6 people in a pitch and from 1 to 7 people (depending on the type of accommodation) in a rental. However, in both cases, the number of people may not be exceeded for safety reasons. A baby counts as 1 person. It is compulsory to provide us with the surname, first name and date of birth of each participant when booking.

WHAT ARE THE ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES?

- Bare pitches: departures before 12pm and arrivals after 4pm.
- Mobile-home/Chalet/Gîte: arrivals in high season are between 4pm and 7pm. Arrivals in low season are between 3 pm and 6 pm. Departures are between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

After checking in at reception, our receptionists will show you the way to your pitch.

The departure time must be arranged between 1 and 3 days before your departure.

In the event of late arrival, please let us know so that we can organise your arrival as efficiently as possible. We can be contacted on 02.51.37.29.15.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHOOSE MY LOCATION?

When you make your reservation, you will be offered the "choice of pitch" option. There is a charge for this option. You can choose 3 pitches in order of preference. Your pitch number will be confirmed after approval by the campsite, subject to availability.

Mobile homes

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING WITH YOU WHEN YOU RENT?

Blankets and pillows are provided in all accommodation (tourist rentals only - ask us about business or long-term stays).

Don't forget to bring: your household linen (tea towels, sheets), cleaning and washing-up products, towels, bathmats and swimming costume (no swimming shorts) for July-August stays. Don't forget your table tennis rackets and petanque balls for tournaments (if not, don't worry, we'll lend you some).

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COMFORT AND PREMIUM?

Whatever the level of comfort, each accommodation meets quality criteria to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible.

Our Comfort rentals are our oldest, over 10 years old. They remain clean and well-maintained, but are less modern and represent our entry-level properties at a smart price.

The Premium and Privilège apartments are more recent, less than 10 years old, and more modernly decorated. The shower is XXL. These accommodations combine comfort, modernity and quality.

As these properties are particularly popular, we advise you to book your next holiday as soon as possible!

CAN I HAVE AN EXTRA PERSON SLEEP OVER?

For safety reasons, there is a maximum capacity for each rental, depending on the model. If you are planning to have an extra person staying with you, make sure you rent a property that can accommodate this person and declare the new occupant to the campsite reception so that you can pay the corresponding overnight stay as well as the tourist tax and see the various terms and conditions.

CAN I PUT UP A TENT ON MY MOBILE HOME OR CHALET PITCH?

For safety reasons, it is not permitted to pitch a tent or any other equipment on a rental pitch.

HOW CAN I EXPRESS MY OPINION ABOUT THE CAMPSITE?

HOW TO SORT THINGS AT THE CAMPSITE?

Camping l'Ambois is committed to an ecological approach and would like to share with you its desire to preserve the natural environment surrounding the campsite. We will therefore provide you with the necessary instructions and sorting bags to make it easier for you to recycle your waste. At the entrance to the campsite, the sorting columns (glass, cardboard, all waste) will guide you in the distribution. A compost bin is available at several points of passage, where you can empty your bioseau (available in each accommodation).

WHEN DOES THE POOL OPEN? IS IT SUPERVISED?

The aquatic centre is open from 1 July to 31 August. The team can open as early as May (for bank holidays) and as late as September, depending on the weather. Don't forget to ask at reception when booking your stay (in mid-season) whether the pools are open or not. The area is not supervised. Parents or accompanying adults are entirely responsible for their children's swimming.

The wristband given to you on arrival will give you free access to the pool area.

The swimming pools are reserved for our customers only. For safety reasons, visitors are not allowed in the pool area.

The regulations only allow campsite guests access.

Visitors must report to reception on arrival and pay the visitor tax to gain access to the campsite if they wish to visit a relative. However, they are strictly forbidden to use the activities and the aquatic area.
