Having just arrived in the region for work, I started looking for accommodation in the Vendée. More specifically, I needed a rental à la Roche Sur Yon. I was looking for affordable accommodation in a quiet location where I felt safe. However, my search was very complicated because there were very few offers on the market. My temp agency told me about an alternative, temporary solution: renting a mobile home or chalet at a campsite. First of all, what I immediately liked about Camping l'Ambois were the animals. There's a donkey, ponies, goats, sheep and a llama, all yearning for peace and quiet.

What's more, each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, toilet and shower room (with shower and washbasin), as well as a bedroom and living room. I even had television in the accommodation at no extra charge. And the nice surprise: a free wifi ticket every month.
Likewise, the campsite is super safe and equipped with video surveillance cameras, a security gate open from 7.00 am to 10.30 pm and 24/24 security guards, which gives me peace of mind.

That's why these little services made all the difference to my choice.
The campsite is also ideally located for an easy day trip. rental la Roche Sur Yon. It is also 3 kilometres from Mouilleron le Captif, which has a Carrefour Market and bakeries.
After talking to the campsite manager, I said to myself that I was lucky to have found temporary accommodation here, because they get calls every day. Requests from companies to house their employees or from individuals who have found work in the Vendée.
